Steve began his career as an electrical helper at just 17 years old and hasn’t stopped since. He built Southern Electric with grit, honesty, and an eye toward quality service from the very first service call he made. Cody joined early on as a helper and worked his way up, driven by a deep-rooted family tradition of electrical work. With a grandfather who was an electrician and a father who worked the power lines, it was only natural that Cody’s passion would take shape through lighting design and installation, as well as dependable electrical work.
Together, they built a company that treats every project—big or small—with the same level of care.
Whether it’s an emergency power outage or installing under-cabinet LED lighting in a dream kitchen, our goal is simple: to make you, the customer, feel heard, respected, and confident in the work being done.
